Special 4-Weekend Series

In this Horse Medicine Intensive we explore the following levels of experience:

We work deeply with somatics, learning to connect with our bodies to unlock the valuable information and wisdom that resides there. We strive to heal the mind/body split that has plagued our modern culture since the 17th century, and to become a more fully embodied presence.

We actively engage with the Unconscious mind –the place where our dreams, aspirations, fears, and magic reside. This is the emotional and energetic level of our being, which needs to be acknowledged and brought into Conscious purpose in the world.

We experience aesthetic engagement: the world of beauty, grace, metaphor, poetry and feeling. We learn to inform the rational/cognitive mind with the emotional/artistic mind, to find a balanced expression of our presence in the world.

We embrace duality and paradox: disintegration/integration, deconstruction/reconstruction, fear/courage, vulnerability/strength, not as either/or choices, but as opposing yet necessary aspects of reaching our full potential. The horse is a fully embodied expression of yin/yang complementarity, capable of helping us find that same balance in ourselves.

We learn to work with Energy/Life Force by exploring deeper connections to horse energies and the ways horse medicine can help us heal and enhance our lives. As we become familiar with the horse ancestors, learn to work with personal horse guides, and recognize how feedback from the horse is a symbol for what is going on within, we clear unwanted energies from the body and thus see our own magnificence.

We explore intersubjectivity, or the sharing of subjective states by two or more sentient beings, through coaching from a systems perspective. Coaching allows us to integrate the deep insights revealed to us in this equine partnership; an integration that offers us a perspective of embodied knowingness and deep connection with our personal power. Coaching supports us in the “work” of transformation: in understanding what we have learned in the intensive and transforming that information in a non-judgmental, compassionate manner into “our heart’s desire.”

Fees: $199/module (includes lunch)
Max. group size: 8

Fee includes a one-hour follow up Life Coaching Session (in person or via phone) after each module (4 hours total) as a support to clients in integrating the work.
